Regulations and Restrictions

Sending from Australia:

The maximum principal amount that you can send from Australia Post locations is AU $10,000.
Senders must provide a valid, Government-issued, Photo Identification for all transactions.
American Express locations will only accept cash up to AU $1,000 or local equivalent.
For transactions of $1,000 and more Customer's Date of Birth is required. It must be verified against an ID and then recorded in the system.
Maximum send transaction amount at CBA locations is $AU 9,000.00 per transaction.

Receiving in Australia:

Underage recipients are permitted to receive Money Transfers.
Due to system limitations, receivers at Australia Post must present the correct Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).
Receivers must present valid identification.
For Money Transfers of $1,000 USD and above, Government-issued photo ID and 10-digit MTCN required for all payout transactions.
CBA does not offer pay out.

General Information:

ID will be required for all transactions.
Student identification cards are acceptable.
Test Question is not allowed.
